McFarlane Toys: DC Multiverse Figures Collectible Cards (2020–)
Note: I discontinued updating these McFarlane 'checklist pages' in January 2025. Find that now in this Google Sheet!

Each toy in the McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse series shipped with a collectible card. The listings here mirror the text that is printed on the front of the cards. Information in parenthesis is not printed on the card, but is included for clarification.
The cards do not have numbering. There is a code on the back that indicates the year issued (e.g., s22 = 2022). My list groups cards thematically by comic book series or character.
In numerous instances, the promo image of a card on McFarlane.com differed from the final printed card.
Figure and Card Variants/Rarity
I have no insights about production runs, but have noticed that some figures (thus, their cards) appear less frequently. Also, the pricier the figure, the less likely the owner is to separate the card from it.
- The “Gold Label” designation meant that a figure was sold exclusively through a particular retailer. While this might make some collectors go out of their way, they are not necessarily more rare.
- "Megafigures" (larger figures) were more expensive, thus found less commonly.
- Vehicles were usually more expensive, thus less common.
- Multipacks (some with foil cards). Most multipacks shipped with card variations, sometimes in foil (not “holographic”) . The image on the cards in these packs was sometimes different from the standard-issue figures.
- Autograph editions are more exclusive/rare.
- Platinum Edition figures were variant "chase" figures. Some earlier ones shipped with card variants. Later ones contained the same card as the standard figure.
- Some figure variants (like “unmasked”) appeared less frequently.

Platinum Edition Figures
In the first years, "Platinum Edition" figures were commonly released as "chase" variant figures.
These should not be confused with "Gold Label" figures, which are sold exclusively by a single retailer.
Early Platinum Figures • Foil Cards
Early Platinum waves featured figures painted in bronze, gold and silver. The cards with these figures were foil versions of the standard figures' cards (not "hologram"; same artwork). For example, the Batman and Joker figures for Arkham Asylum were issued as individuals, but also in 2-pack and Platinum editions. Those variant figures included foil card variants.
Platinum "Unpainted" Figures (2022) • Monochrome cards
In 2022, 13 Platinum variant figures were issued. These were described as "unpained," plain gray figures, and they shipped with unique card designs featuring black-and-white images. After this wave, the cards found in Platinum figures were generally not different from the standard packages. Platinum figures were randomly packed into cases of figures, occurring about 1 in every 20–30 boxes. Although this makes them rarer, some collectors did not care for them because they desired/expected the regular figures.
San Diego Comi-Con Exclusives (2021)
Three figures have cards with black-and-white images and a differently-colored back side. In 2021, the SDCC was online only, so these were just released around that time, making them easier to find than traditional, in-person convention exclusives.
