The 31st century JSA: "Atom Smasher," Dr. Fate and Green Lantern. From Justice Society of America vol. 4 #5 (May 2023); by Geoff Johns and Mikel Janin.

In the DC Universe, Doctor Fate is the alter ego of many characters who have come to wear the ancient, magical artifact known as the Helmet of Nabu. In the 20th and 21st centuries, characters such as Kent Nelson, Hector Hall and Khalid Nassour have all borne the mantle of Fate.

In the 30th century, the newest magical adept is also a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes. Little is known about this Doctor Fate but he is a six-armed alien who wears Nabu's helm and represents the Lords of Order in the universe. (Legion vol. 8 #10)

While on Xanthu investigating the whereabouts of the dark magician, Mordru, Dr. Fate was apparently killed, (#11) but returned soon to turn the tide in the battle and banish Mordru. (#12)

A similarly-clad version of the character appeared as a member of a 31st century Justice Society. She had two arms, was called "Sofie," and was accompanied by a new Green Lantern and Atom Smasher. (The New Golden Age #1) Note: This team's existence in continuity is uncertain. They reappeared in Justice Society of America vol. 4 #5 (May 2023).

Powers

Doctor Fate wears the Helmet of Nabu, which is possessed of it's namesake, the spirit of the great sorceror, Nabu, of ancient Egypt. The Helm and Nabu's power comes frorm the Lords of Order and bestows near-limitless magical potential to its possessor, provided they have the training.

His planet's name, Tor-Etto, may refer to Singh's resemblance to actor Vin Diesel's character, Dominic Toretto, from the Fast & Furious films.
