Justice Society Membership
In the first season of Stargirl, the Justice Society were said to have all been killed by the Injustice Society of America (ISA) some ten years before. A group photo of 11 members was shown among Pat (Stripesy) Dugan's mementos.
Pat also watched over their former headquarters, their weapons and their research. These fell into the hands of his step-daughter, Courtney, who became the inheritor of Starman's cosmic staff. She proceeded to recruit other teenagers to her cause, doling out the JSA's weapons to her friends.
At the conclusion of season 1, Stargirl dubbed her own group as the new "Justice Society."
